At the end of a period, such as a day, week, or month, a period end routine is run in order to ensure accurate calculation of overtime and sickness values, and the timing data is presented to Payroll.
Costing information is both collected and automatically calculated according to the business rules. These are also passed to Payroll - including ex-gratia payment and where appropriate, commission.
